The basic Membership in Genealogy World is FREE. This is simply for us to know and control who, and how our website is being accessed. Pick a username (One that you wish to use here), and a secure password (UNIX style). That means it should be at least 6 characters, contain UPPER CASE, lower case, and a number or special character. (Example Username and password: (name) JSmith (password) FGsh#235 ). This is for your safety as well as ours.

Please REMEMBER your password. We will supply a look-up facility if you lose your password. But it will ONLY send it to your registered email address. If you change email addresses, please notify us so we can change your record.

When applying you MUST supply a Real Name and a VALID Email address. The basic FREE membership is subject to fair, honest, and respectable use. It may be revoked at any time, without cause or recourse, at the discretion of Genealogy World. - Thanks for joining.

You will receive a confirmation by email, acknowledging your application. Again, you will receive within 24 hours or less, notification of acceptance or rejection, and if accepted your account will be activated, and allow login to the members area.

REMEMBER Your USERID and PASSWORD... write it down! And Remember also it IS case sensitive!
